Inaugurated on October 11, 2013, the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover stands as a testament to visionary urban planning and connectivity, being the country’s largest flyover built through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative. Seven Rings Cement is proud to have contributed to this landmark project by providing high-quality cement that ensures the strength and durability of this essential infrastructure. This achievement fulfills a long-cherished dream for city dwellers and marks a significant milestone in the country’s road communication system.

With a four-lane design, the 11.8 km flyover connects key roads and bus terminals and has six entry and seven exit points. It serves as a crucial route, alleviating perennial traffic congestion and significantly improving connectivity between 32 southeastern districts and the capital city.”

The total project cost was approximately Tk. 2,300 crore, and the flyover is equipped with world-class GEA France toll collection systems at seven plazas, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Its estimated 100-year lifespan highlights its durability, providing an efficient route for vehicles from 30 southern and southwestern districts to reach the capital, bypassing gridlocks.
