This is the highest quantity of cement selling project for a particular cement manufacturing company in the history of Bangladesh where seven rings delivered more than 0.370 million ton of cement.
The design of the terminal includes impressive facilities, with the first phase of construction now completed. The completed phase includes 12 boarding bridges, 16 conveyor belts, 115 check-in counters (including 15 self check-in kiosks), 64 departure immigration desks, 59 arrival immigration desks, 3 VIP immigration desks, and 10 automated ‘e-gates’ at the exit. For passenger convenience, the terminal also features 12 walkalators, 35 escalators, and 43 elevators. An additional 14 boarding bridges will be constructed in later phases.
