The third terminal at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport marks a major advancement in Bangladesh’s aviation infrastructure. This state-of-the-art facility reflects the nation’s ambitions and is set to revolutionize air travel in the country.
Seven Rings Cement is the principal supplier for this project, providing premium quality cement that ensures the strength and longevity of this essential infrastructure.
This is the highest quantity of cement selling project for a particular cement manufacturing company in the history of Bangladesh where seven rings delivered more than 0.370 million ton of cement.
The design of the terminal includes impressive facilities, with the first phase of construction now completed. The completed phase includes 12 boarding bridges, 16 conveyor belts, 115 check-in counters (including 15 self check-in kiosks), 64 departure immigration desks, 59 arrival immigration desks, 3 VIP immigration desks, and 10 automated ‘e-gates’ at the exit. For passenger convenience, the terminal also features 12 walkalators, 35 escalators, and 43 elevators. An additional 14 boarding bridges will be constructed in later phases.
Boasting a modern design and cutting-edge technology, the new terminal will greatly improve passenger experience and operational efficiency. With increased capacity, it will meet the rising demand for air travel, boost tourism, and facilitate international trade.

Seven Rings Cement is proud to have played a key role in the construction of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge, a true engineering marvel for Bangladesh. Spanning the mighty Padma River, this record-breaking structure is the longest bridge in the country at 6.15 kilometers and features the world’s deepest bridge piles at 127 meters. More than just a bridge, it serves a dual purpose: a four-lane highway for the smooth flow of people and goods, and a single-track railway line that further enhances connectivity and drives economic growth. The first span was installed in October 2017, all pillars had been completed by November 2020, and the final span was placed in December 2020. Expected to increase Bangladesh’s GDP by 1.23%, the bridge connects 13 southwestern districts, which have higher poverty rates, to more prosperous regions, sparking economic activity. It also unlocks the potential of 17 planned economic zones in the southwest, attracting businesses and creating jobs.
