The country’s leading cement brand Seven Rings Cement recently organized a Dealer Conference with the slogan ‘Durbar Jatrar Sharothi’ at a Five Star Hotel in Cox’s Bazar. 180 distributors from Dhaka plant have participated in this 3-day-long event.

Bangladeshi Cricketer Tamim Iqbal Joins SEVEN RINGS CEMENT as Brand Ambassador
Bangladesh National Cricket Team captain Tamim Iqbal recently signed an agreement with leading cement brand of Bangladesh SEVEN RINGS CEMENT to promote the brand as its brand ambassador. SEVEN RINGS CEMENT’s Director Tahmina Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of the company while Director & CEO S. Raihan Ahmed, Director Saif Rahman, Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary Md. Tribute to Legends: SEVEN RINGS CEMENT Honoring Architects & Engineers
SEVEN RINGS CEMENT organized a program titled “Tribute to Legends” at Le Meridian, Dhaka in order to pay homage to the country’s six legendary Civil Engineers and Architects for their contribution in architects on Thursday (29th December).
Vice Chancellor of University of Asia Pacific, Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury honored the event with his kind presence as the Chief Guest.
He proudly mentioned the names of the great leaders,
“Our leaders who are being awarded as the six eminent architects and engineers today are;Bangladeshi- American structural Engineer and Architect Fazlur Rahman Khan (FR Khan), Great Architect Mazharul Islam, Designer of Jatiyo Smritisoudha Architect Syed Mainul Hossain, 1 st women VC of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Professor Khaleda Ekram, LGED’s Founder Chief Engineer Mr. Kamrul Islam Siddique and First Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), MA Rashid.”
The Chief Guest Professor Jamilur Reza Choudhury stated that the architecture and engineering organizations have done their best for the people of our country and have taken us to another level. FR Khan’s recognition as the best structural engineer of twentieth century has brought great honor to our country. Similarly, the first Vice Chancellor of BUET, Engineer MA Rashid has laid foundation for engineering as a discipline. Architect Mazharul Islam is coined as the father of modern architecture. As highlighted in the event, Bangladesh, in world of architectural industry is ahead from many countries and is one of the well reputed one. This has been possible for Bangladesh due to the great architects and engineers with outstanding talent that they mixed with their relentless efforts. Among them, we have few who have proven themselves to be the source of continuous inspiration for the future generation. And today we gather to pay our respect to them.
Among others, Engineer Professor Dr. Shamim Z. Bosunia, Ex. President, Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Professor Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor, Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohammed Alauddin, Vice Chancellor, Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Architect Mr. Qazi M. Arif, General Secretary, IAB were also adorned the program.
