Shun Shing Group was established in Hong Kong in the year 1988 and since then Group has involved in international import and export trading business dealing with Cement, Clinker, Gypsum, Limestone, Rock Phosphate and Iron ore. They also set up a strong ocean-going dry cargo ship’s operating division to handle own cargo transportation for on-time delivery to all overseas customers.
Group’s first industrial investment was made in Bangladesh to support the core business of cement. In the year 1999 they established Seven Circle Bangladesh Ltd to produce and market cement under the brand name SEVEN RINGS CEMENT. The first factory of Seven Rings Cement was established at Kaligong, Gazipur, Dhaka in the name of Seven Circle Bangladesh Ltd. (SCBL) on the bank of the river Shitalakha which is only 38 KM away from Dhaka city with the current production capacity of 1.9 Million M/tons per annum to cover the demand of Greater Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Cumilla.
The second factory of Seven Rings Cement was established in 2014 in Labanchara, KDA Industrial Area, Khulna under the name Shun Shing Cement Mills Ltd (SSCML) on the bank of Rupsha River which is only 7 KM away from Khulna City Center with production capacity of 1.5 Million M/tons per annum to cover the demand of southwest zone and northern districts of the country.
The exponential expansion of consumer preference has thrived SEVEN RINGS CEMENT to go for another 5 Million M/tons production capacity expansion through latest VRM technology, out of which 3.5 Million M/tons VRM Plant installation has been completed at Kaligonj, Gazipur.
Another greenfield VRM project construction has been installed on the bank of Shikolbha River mouth towards Karnafuly River at Shikolbha, Chattogram with the capacity of 1.5 Million Tons per annum under a new company Shun Shing Cement Industries Limited to cover the demand of Greater Chattogram and Noakhali.
The combined production capacities of the factories is now 8.4 Million Tons per annum which have made Seven Rings Cement one of the largest cement manufacturing plant in the country. All the factories of Seven Rings Cement are unique in maintaining top quality products with product diversity of world-class standard.
As forward and backward linkage support of cement factory, the group has established WPP Bag Manufacturing plant, Power Generation Plant, Road Transportation Division and Water Transport Division. Apart from this, the group has established Inland costal vessel Building facilities with Slipway Dock yard for vessel’s maintenance.
Seven Rings cement has expanded the span of business beyond the borders by exporting to India since 2008.
Besides Bangladesh Shun Shing Group has established a new company GreenCem LLC Dubai to set up 1 million tons per annum VRM plant in Jabel Ali Industrial Area, Dubai, UAE, to produce Grinded Slag and Cement in Bag/Bulk for UAE market and export to nearby countries.
In April 2018, Shun Shing Group has launched a new company named CEMCOA LIMITED to do all types of export and import trading business under this banner.
Currently, we are producing four types of cement:
i) Seven Rings Gold (CEM-I)
ii) Seven Rings Special (CEM II/A-M)
iii) Seven Rings Cement (CEM II/B-M)
iv) Seven Rings Cement for Export (PPC Indian Standard 1489 Pt. I : 2015).

2002
New Bag Plant
SSGIL established woven Polypropylene (WPP) cement Bag Plant with the capacity of 26 million pieces/year.
2007
Power Plant
Uninterrupted power supply to continue unremitting production the group established 10.16 MW gas based power plant and extended the bag plant to 48 million pcs from 26 million pcs per year. In the same year the cement production capacity of SCBL was increased to 1.1 MILLION TONS from 0.5 MILLION TONS per year.

Export
SCBL started to export cement in India
2011
Expansion of Cement Factory
SCBL cement factory was expanded to 1.6 MILLION TONS from 1.1 MILLION TONS per year.
2012
Expansion of Power Plant
SCBL expanded its power plant to 15.26 MW from 10.16 MW for meeting the increasing demand of power for expanded cement manufacturing facilities.
2014
Establishment of Khulna Factory
SSGIL has established the second manufacturing plant of Seven Rings Cement in Khulna with production capacity of 1.3 MILLION TONS in the name of Shun Shing Cement Mills Ltd.
2015
Expansion of Bag Plant
A second bag plant was installed with a capacity of 30 million bags per annum.
2018
Expansion of Bag Plant
A third bag plant was installed with a capacity of 54 million bags per annum for producing 2Ply and 1Ply AD*STAR cement bags.
2020
Expansion of Bag and Power plant
Capacity of the third bag plant was extended with a capacity of 14 million bags per annum for PP Agro Bags production and installed a 40 MW capacity 132kV national grid substation at the Gazipur factory.
2021
Expansion of Cement Factory and Establishment of Chattogram Factory
Inauguration of new VRM plant at Gazipur factory with a capacity of 3.5 MT/annum and at Chattogram with 1.6 MT/annum.
