Environmental Responsibility

Both in and beyond factory premises, Seven Rings Cement seeks to take responsibilities for the environmental impact of its business operation. The plant design and equipment were selected in line with the local and international industrial emissions requirements. As a result, the factory dedusting system guarantees dust emission at ≤30 mg/Nm3. Moreover, the factory access roads are fully paved which also minimizes the emissions of particulates during transportation. Moreover, the plants are equipped with ECO hopper at clinker unloading jetties. These ECO hoppers ensure 100% dust control which continuously functions during clinker unloading.
Additional filters have been put in place to ensure ‘no additional gases are emitted’. Gazipur plant (SCBL) has 19 (nineteen) process dust collectors & 32 (thirty-two) non-process dust collectors in every transfer, discharge and storage points.
Khulna plant (SSCML) has 31 (Thirty-one) dust collectors out of which 11 (eleven) are process dust collectors & 20 (twenty) are non-process dust collectors.
Additionally, SCBL & SSCML have taken extensive tree plantation program at both of its factory premises. Every bit of empty space is dedicated for greenery.
Seven Rings Cement factories are ISO 14001:2004 certified.
